As Evelyn and Lord Blue discuss the seven spiritual energy centers, the mundane high school setting transforms into a classroom for mystic learning. The gym lights flicker.
Evelyn Reese sits cross-legged on the scuffed floor of the old high school auditorium, right where the basketball court lines peel into a crooked circle. Someone has dragged the curtains shut, and the air smells like dust, sweat, and the faint chemical bite of floor polish. Around her, a dozen other juniors shift on their yoga mats, whispering, rolling their eyes about having to attend “Mindful Living Week” instead of regular homeroom.
At the front of the room, a man in a cobalt hoodie and beat-up sneakers stands perfectly still. His hair is shot with silver, not old exactly, more like it’s been bleached by too much sky. The students call him Lord Blue, half-jokingly. Nobody knows his real name. The school calls him a “guest facilitator.” Online, there are rumors: cult leader, energy healer, ex-psych patient. Evelyn thinks he doesn’t blink enough.
He looks over the students as if their chatter is background noise in someone else’s life.
“Your soul,” he says, voice low but somehow slicing through the murmur, “has friends and enemies.”
Some kids snicker. The sound slides off him.
“Your soul’s friends and enemies are not just physical beings,” Lord Blue continues. “Your soul has allies and foes within every aspect of wisdom, virtues, and powers.”
Evelyn leans back on her hands, skeptical. Friends. Enemies. She’s used to those labels being thrown around in group chats and hallway drama, not… whatever this is.
Lord Blue paces across the faded three-point line. “There are seven soul command centers the Glows use,” he says, “to sense and receive pure spiritual energy. These portal stations also send out mystic energy.”
He taps the white paint of the center circle with his sneaker, like he’s waking the court up.
“Your body’s seven energy centers are interconnected networks spanning the mystic and the physical worlds. Each portal center steps down and transfers mystic force into the physical world. When they radiate strongly—pure and balanced—you glow. When they’re weak, dull or corrupted, the emanations clog the portals and cause the Flickers to strobe.”
He snaps his fingers once, sharply, and the ceiling lights actually blink. The class goes quiet despite itself.
“Blocked energy centers can cause tiredness, illness, or emotional confusion,” he says. “Free-flowing power helps you radiate a more creative, energetic, and confident glow. Peaceful, optimistic feelings attract more positive life force.”
Evelyn crosses her arms. Positive life force sounds like something printed on a wellness influencer’s water bottle, but she can’t deny how her chest tightens every time he says blocked.
She raises a hand. “Okay, but… if there are portals, like actual energy portals, can we use them to teleport? Because honestly, that would be cool.”
A ripple of laughter moves through the room. Lord Blue’s mouth twitches.
“The mystic energy flowing out of your seven centers,” he says, “decorates and colors your surrounding auric forcefield glow. Your aura weaves into and enhances others’ energy fields, for better or for worse.”
He sweeps his hand over the crowd, like he’s brushing invisible threads.
“It feels better,” he adds, “to be around gracious, smiling Glows rather than downcast, crabby Glowless Ones. Wherever you go, your vibration can stimulate or pollute others’ auras.”
Evelyn imagines an invisible cloud around her—probably pink, she thinks, before she can stop herself. She smirks.
“I bet my aura is pink,” she says under her breath, then louder when he looks at her. “Like, obnoxiously pink.”
“Most people,” Lord Blue answers, “lack the discipline to acquire extra reserve mystic light. They only save up what they plan to need. They spend whatever they get as soon as they get it.”
She thinks of her bank app, the way any money from weekend shifts at the coffee shop evaporates into hoodies, streaming subscriptions, and random online crap.
“Having extra energy,” he says, “enables you to produce positive change in your personal life and in the lives of others.”
Evelyn’s mind jumps—marches, petitions, the climate walkout, the principal called “disruptive.” More energy might mean more courage.
She raises her chin. “Then I plan to be so charged up with extra energy that I have, like, a ten-foot-wide pink glow.”
A few kids snort. Lord Blue doesn’t.
“Flowing energy,” he says, “has a wonderful feeling when spent. Being loving and kind produces a pleasant glow. People feel a fiery sensation when exploding in rage. The greater the energy expenditure, the bigger the rush of delight.”
He pauses. The room listens.
“Sensational eruptions are most easily produced,” he goes on, “through immoral and corrupt spending. Drug users get addicted trying to recreate past eruptions of feeling high. Conserving your mystic energy will reserve your mystic power for when you need it.”
His words land heavier than the school’s don’t-do-drugs slideshow ever does. Evelyn thinks of her cousin, of the family whispers no one completes.
“Do people really waste their energy using drugs and alcohol?” she asks. “That’s… honestly so sad. How are they ever supposed to develop their virtuous powers if they don’t have extra energy to practice with? Don’t they want to graduate?”
She doesn’t mean from high school. Everyone in here is already drowning in GPA anxiety. She means something bigger, though she can’t explain it.
Her brain skips ahead, tripping on the weight of it. “And I’m supposed to be stressed about the fact that these are the people we’re supposed to wake up and drag back onto the path of graduation?”
Her voice cracks a little on drag.
Lord Blue watches her for a long moment. “Misused energy from uncontrolled eruptions,” he says quietly, “gets trapped around your mystic centers, restricting your vitality. Flickering, polluted portals reduce the streaming force, making you feel sick and sluggish.”
On the far wall, the old trophy case—full of dust-coated medals from teams that don’t exist anymore—seems to darken.
“Hoarders,” he adds, “accumulate massive piles of items that clutter their homes and block off areas. They are too dense to perceive the heaps of trash limiting their lives.”
Evelyn pictures those YouTube videos of houses buried under garbage. Still, my mind also flashes to her school’s hallways—old policies, broken systems, detentions that don’t fix anything—piled like invisible junk.
“So their attachments to material objects,” she says slowly, “override their desire to graduate.”
“Chi spent on lesser desires,” Lord Blue says, “is not available to invest in radiating divine feelings. It takes discipline to stay attuned to inspiration from your conscience instead of temptations from the Tempter.”
“It’s like a domino effect,” Evelyn murmurs. “You keep choosing the easy rush, and it just… depresses the soul until you’re a Glowless One.”
Each word feels too dramatic and, somehow, not dramatic enough.
“Each soul,” Lord Blue says, “creates an internal library of personal values and interests. The soul embraces some laws and rejects others. The soul selects which virtues to focus on.”
Evelyn stares up at the cracked raft—internal library. If hers exists, it’s probably a disaster: fiction stacked on activism, half-read self-help, receipts folded into dog-eared margins.
“Your range of knowledge,” he continues, “limits your understanding. Unknown laws have not yet been retrieved from the soul’s deep storage. You have ensouled a new home and haven’t gotten around to unpacking all the boxes containing proper instructions.”
She laughs once, surprised. Moving into a human body as badly as she moved into her mom’s new apartment—that tracks.
“If you want mystical powers and attainment,” Lord Blue says, “you must sacrifice human pleasure, surrender to your soul’s mission, and selflessly serve to help others do the same.”
It sounds extreme, like those motivational speakers who tell you sleep is for the weak. Except this time, the currency is your actual joy.
Her chest tightens again.
While Lord Blue explains the base of the spine energy center and human attachments, the remaining students begin to grasp the weight of controlling their physical bodies. The workshop is supposed to end, but no one stands. The bell rings in the distance, muffled by the closed doors. In here, time feels rubbery.
Lord Blue pulls a roll-up banner from a bag and lets it snap open. A stylized body glows on the vinyl, seven colored circles aligned down its spine.
“Fourth ray,” he says, tapping the bottom circle that pulses white on the diagram. “White ray. Base of the spine energy center.”
He turns back to the students.
“The human body,” he says, “will act on its own through instincts, hormones, chemical reactions, and electric impulses. Your soul receives mystic energy, stores it, and spends it. Free will determines how this energy is spent.”
He grips the edge of the banner, knuckles pale. “The soul expends energy from the base of the spine to take control of and animate the physical body. The soul tries to grab the puppet strings and manipulate the body in the physical world. This energy center interweaves mystic and physical energy to control the body. Your soul works to stream through the life force that physically empowers the body.”
Evelyn eyes his hands. Puppet strings. She thinks of how often her own body drags her—into scrolling at 2 a.m., into staying silent when a teacher says something messed up, into laughing along with jokes that make her stomach twist.
“You make it sound so easy,” she says. “What aren’t you telling us?”
Lord Blue exhales like he’s been waiting for that question.
“A horse,” he says, “will go where there is sunshine, food, and water unless the rider takes control of the reins. The rider must take command. Your soul can overpower the human body’s instincts and desires to determine the appropriate action. Your soul directs mystic spirit energy, which generates the creative power for willfully animating the human body.”
“Yeah,” Evelyn mutters. “I get the feeling that’s not what actually happens for most souls.”
“True,” Lord Blue says. “Most humans allow their ego to take control. However, as soul students, you can focus on fulfilling your mission and helping others. Each soul nurtures a strong working relationship with the human body.
“We use our seven centers to charge the physical world with holy spirit energy. Your soul directs the sacred fire energy to rise and radiate wisdom and divine virtue, which causes a divine glow. Your disciplined soul spends mystic energy to nurture, teach, and support others. You integrate purity, beauty, and joy into the physical world.”
He says it like it’s a group project: charge the world, radiate virtue. Evelyn imagines turning in a half-finished assignment titled Fix Earth.
“This is starting to look more like a luxury vacation after all,” she says dryly.
Some kids laugh. Lord Blue almost smiles.
“Souls often become personally attached to what they create,” he says. “The creative energy flows through them, so they think they have the right to possess whatever they create. Selfishly claiming ownership of what the mystic energy creates increases the soul’s tie to the physical world. Attachments restrict the flow and cause a flicker. All attachments restrict the soul’s freedom to create.”
Evelyn thinks of art accounts on social media, of people screaming “mine” under every repost. She thinks of grades, scholarships and body image. How much of her identity is attached to what she produces, instead of who she is?
“The soul has to know Earth is a temporary experience,” she says softly. “Everything physical gets left behind each time the body dies. How can humans ignore so much truth?”
“Sometimes,” Lord Blue replies, “the departed soul cannot let go of addictions, attachments, and grudges. Their disembodied consciousness stays anchored to the physical world. They become ghostly shadow people for a long time. These shadow souls intermingle in the cities and countryside, but have no actual physical interaction.”
Evelyn pictures ghost versions of her neighbors, still checking their phones, still hovering over unspoken arguments.
“I plan to give all the ghosts a stern rebuke,” she mutters.
A couple of kids snicker, but no one dares call her out. The word stern hangs between joke and promise.
Sitting with a few lingering students, Evelyn questions conserving mystic energy and avoiding earthly distractions as she considers her own daily exhaustion. The room has thinned out. Some students slip away, deciding that being late to the next class is worse than missing enlightenment. Evelyn stays. A few others—Kai, Jazmine, the Gonzalez twins—linger too.
Lord Blue draws three small circles in the air with his finger. As he moves, Evelyn swears she sees a faint trail of light, like afterimages.
“Those who conserve and store extra mystic energy,” he says, “are the most creative, joyous, and effective people. They are overflowing with abundant spiritual energy and want to share it with others.”
He taps his chest. “Every day, you receive an allotment of mystic energy. This sacred fire empowers you to think, feel, speak, and act. You have free will to decide how to spend that energy. You can invest that energy through virtuous deeds, spiritual practices, and selfless service.”
Evelyn’s mind immediately does the math. Wake up, worry about grades, doomscroll climate news, absorb a hundred microaggressions before lunch, pretend she’s fine. Her daily allotment feels overdrawn by the third period.
“If humanity can connect with, like, graduated spiritual investment advisors”—she makes air quotes—“to advise them on how to increase their spiritual bank account, why wouldn’t all souls do this?”
Lord Blue looks genuinely amused. “Many choose to dissipate their energy through pleasurable human activities which distract them from training lessons and tests,” he says. “These can include outbursts of anger, gossip, criticism, or deviant behavior. Worrying about and obsessing over assets drains power. Wasting precious energy does not help the soul evolve. This ties up energy rather than multiplying it.
“The soul students work to integrate flowing mystic fire into everyday life by investing their energy in helping other souls to graduate.”
Evelyn picks at a loose thread on her jeans. “Why does the human body have a different agenda than the embodying soul?” she asks. “My soul is going to need a lot of power to overtake my body.”
“Selfish attachments, expectations, and seeking human pleasure,” Lord Blue replies, “weaken the virtuous soul’s vision and motivation. When the focus remains merely on the physical, most of the energy flows only into and out of the bottleneck.
“It would be like going to a movie theater and hearing only the loud explosions and crashes of an action movie. No plot, visuals, or music to trigger your emotions. Just isolated, meaningless, explosive, loud noises. Isolated bottom-center flow produces imbalanced noise and animalistic sensations. The soul does not imbue the light with purity and joy.
“The uncontrolled energy can result in outbursts of anger, violence, or the misuse of sexual energy.”
The comparison hits home harder than he probably realizes. Evelyn thinks of her classmates numbing out—hookups they don’t want, parties they can’t remember, rage texts they regret—explosions without story.
She sighs. “I wish there were other options to embody. Could we start off practicing as rabbits, deer, or butterflies?”
Laughter bubbles up around her, but Lord Blue’s answer is immediate.
“Not a good idea,” he says. “Over time, your soul uses free will to develop a permanent personality, choosing both positive and negative qualities.”
As Lord Blue teaches about free choice and Evelyn considers her hidden mystic vaults, the illuminated banner draws everyone's focus. The banner’s colors seem brighter now, like someone has dimmed the rest of the world to spotlight them. Lord Blue touches the topmost circle, violet and shimmering.
“Violet ray,” he says. “Seventh ray. Seat of the soul: free choice, glowpower.”
Evelyn sits forward. This sounds like the part where superpowers kick in.
“Why do some people become criminals?” she asks. The word criminals tastes strange—too small for corrupt politicians, too big for kids shoplifting eyeliner.
“You have earned mystic attainment waiting for you to download,” Lord Blue says. “You also have undeveloped mystic potentials which only you can unwrap and master. Mystic senses, abilities, and powers are stacked in piles waiting for you to claim. Each soul also has a private spiritual bank account of accumulated assets for investing.”
Evelyn’s eyes light up despite herself. “I love opening presents,” she says. “Can I open new gifts every day?”
“Your soul’s first choice,” Lord Blue answers, “is to be or not to be connected to your higher conscience. Cutting off or forgetting about this higher source limits access to spiritual energy, virtues, and gifts.
“Most souls unknowingly create the illusion of separation. Their crystallized misused energy forms a brick wall, blocking off the mystic self.”
Her throat tightens. She thinks about barriers that feel real—systemic racism, deportation threats and bills her mom ignores until the red notices arrive. And now he’s telling her she also builds walls inside herself.
“To summarize,” Evelyn says slowly, trying to catch all the threads, “I’m about to descend into the physical world to practice using my free choice while staying disciplined enough to stay connected with my higher conscience.
“It’s going to be challenging not to get lost in the illusion of time and space, but I still want to go.”
The words surprise her; it feels like she’s narrating a memory she doesn’t remember.
“Right now, I know I’ll have to stay focused on my spiritual soul,” she continues, looking straight at him, “but there’s a good chance I’ll forget who I am, get lost in reality, and sink deeper into the illusion.
“It’d be like going to a twenty-four-hour amusement park and forgetting I had a home. The world of experience, thoughts, and feelings might completely swallow me, and I could be distracted from my mission to master and wisely direct virtuous mystic energy.
“I’ll be enrolled in Soul University, getting lessons and taking tests that help me remember who I am and what my true goals are. I might know I’m in a temporary physical body, but I don't understand that I’ll get future bodies to keep learning.
“Through all this, I still have access to my huge mystic vault of dusty wrapped treasures. They’re my presents to unwrap, but even if I know about the gifts, I forget how to get to the safe and open it.
“So…” She squints at him. “Could you send me forward in time to slap my future stupid self awake and take my future self to the treasures she needs?”
The other students stare. The question rolls between ridiculous and painfully sincere.
Lord Blue shakes his head. “Sorry,” he says. “No cheating with time travel.”
Evelyn flops back dramatically. “Fine. My first task is to take control of my body and not become attached to earthly treasures. Then I’ll work on learning to get, store, and wisely spend mystic light.
“Through all of this, I’ll try to keep a friendly connection from my soul to my higher guide.”
Lord Blue’s gaze softens. “Neither of you,” he says, “will remember this conversation.”
“That’s not fair,” Evelyn protests. “I want to apply for an exception.”
Evelyn learns how the soul stores past life memories and trauma as she listens to the quiet hum of the old building. The auditorium hums faintly—air vents, buzzing lights, the far-off thud of lockers. Inside Evelyn’s chest, something else hums, like static waiting to become a station.
“Your higher conscience,” Lord Blue says, “stores your mystic potential for wisdom, virtues, and powers. It will give you inspiration and guidance on your soul’s purpose and mission if you listen.
“Free will choice enables the soul to decide which potentials to explore. Few countries allow souls the freedom to become all that they are meant to be. In each lifetime, your personality is reformed by blending human and soul personality traits. The soul’s mystic feelings, senses, and powers blend with your instincts, inherited DNA, and some environmental influences.”
Kai raises his hand, shy but curious. “Is that why people are all so different?” he asks.
“Yes,” Lord Blue says. “The human brain’s memory is empty at conception and ends empty at death. Your soul’s mind retains all the memories of every lifetime, but you will not have access to these memories until you reach a high level of self-mastery in each lifetime.”
Evelyn hugs her knees. “I’d like to point out,” she says carefully, “that not remembering my past prevents me from remembering the lessons I’ve already learned. Someone with divine authority needs to review this policy.”
Some students laugh. Others don’t, because it hits too close to home—families repeating cycles, trauma looping through generations.
“Your soul,” Lord Blue says, “experiences your physical and emotional trauma. The soul retains the memories of your previous lives all the way back to your original creation. These vast, detailed records can be accessed by those who have mastered the skills to retrieve them.
“Your soul stores ancient memories of your divine origin, plus unpleasant and traumatic past-life events.”
Evelyn shudders. “Since my soul has detailed memories of everything,” she says, “but is locked out until I discover the password and encryption key—maybe you could publish a book on how to unlock my soul memories and potential.”
She hesitates. “And could you also include a magic delete button for the yuck stuff I never want to recall?”
“You need to rediscover your mastered wisdom and earned attainment,” Lord Blue answers, “to start using them in your life. You earned these abilities in the past, but must reclaim them in your present life.”
“Why are my treasures hidden from me?” she demands. “Why don’t they come with me when I’m born again?”
“Imagine,” Lord Blue says, “giving a young child full access to a large trust fund. The immature child would likely foolishly spend the money on lavish toys and candy.
“Your soul has to start to master your new body, emotions, and egotistical desires. Your attained cosmic wisdom, divine virtues, and mystic powers are withheld until you have proven your new body can properly handle these treasures.”
Evelyn exhales slowly. “I’m glad someone wise set up all these rules,” she admits.
“Your gut feelings,” Lord Blue says, “sense the positive or negative vibrations in a situation. The more your human ego is in control, the less accurate these readings will be. Sacrificing your human desires and aligning with your soul’s mission will greatly increase your intuition and discernment.”
“This human ego sounds like big trouble,” Evelyn says. “I want to request a human body without one.”
Lord Blue raises an eyebrow. “Do you really want to be born blind, deaf, and brainless?”
She winces. “Okay, yeah, oops. Please cancel my previous request.”
The tension in the room breaks into laughter, but underneath it, everyone feels the truth: you can’t just delete the messy parts of being human.
Lord Blue describes developing a unique soul personality just as the sounds of the outside world spill briefly into the room. Someone props open a side door to let in fresh air. Cold autumn wind carries in the distant roar of a protest from downtown—chanting about the river pipeline, police drones snarling overhead. The outside world bleeds into this strange indoor lesson.
“Each soul,” Lord Blue says, “creates their unique personality, including habits, goals, and intentions. This greatly determines what you think, how you feel, and what you will accomplish. The virtuous and the immoral qualities you developed in past lifetimes are passed on to your new body.”
Evelyn frowns. “Can the system be upgraded,” she asks, “so my immorality automatically gets dissolved between bodies?”
“The soul begins,” Lord Blue says, “as a perfect being made in the image and likeness of the Creator. If the Creator were an apple tree, then you begin as a perfect apple seed.
“Some may question that all apple seeds are imperfect, but I say all apple seeds contain the matrix for a perfect new tree. The outer flesh of the apple is a temporary warehouse of nutrients. The core seed contains the blueprint to become a perfect apple tree.
“The purpose of the apple is to evolve into another unique tree in the image and likeness of the father tree. The meat of the apple transforms into the ingredients to feed the apple, similar to how the higher conscience feeds the soul.
“The apple seed unlocks the potential stored, locked, and encoded within it. Each apple tree is like the original tree and has the image of an apple tree, but it is not identical.
“Each seed makes choices and is influenced by the surrounding environment, evolving a unique size, shape, and root system. The potential to become a tree is in the apple, but an apple sitting on the kitchen counter is not an apple tree.
“Being made in the image and likeness of the Creator does not mean all souls are currently actually being that image and likeness.”
Evelyn raises her hand halfway, face serious. “Should I feel guilty every time I eat an apple,” she asks, “because I’m denying the apple the chance to become a tree?”
A wave of laughter crashes through the group. Lord Blue chuckles.
“The soul personality,” he says, “is a specific way of acting and reacting to events. It is composed of virtues and vices, moral and immoral values, plus proper and improper ways of doing things.
“It includes patterns for thinking, feeling, communicating, and acting. The personality has areas of strength due to skills, abilities, and experience. The personality has areas of weakness due to inexperience and limited skills.
“This includes how you see, perform, create, and achieve. Not being able to sense energy fields is a weakness, not a corrupted quality.”
“Wouldn’t a wise student,” Evelyn asks, “focus on increasing their strengths and overcoming their weaknesses?”
“The ideal virtuous soul,” Lord Blue replies, “shops only at the higher conscience store for character-building materials.
“Tempters will try to con you into using cheap, free stuff to create patterns and habits that are not aligned with your soul’s mission. Soul values, goals, and preferences can be virtuous or immoral. Mystic powers and abilities can still be used with corrupt intentions.”
Evelyn bites her lip. Power without morals—she sees it every time a politician smiles on TV.
“Will an angel or cosmic being stop me,” she asks, “from improperly directing mystic energy when it’s obvious I have a corrupt intention?”
“You may hear a warning,” Lord Blue says, “but no angel or cosmic being is permitted to stop you before you perform an immoral action. This would violate your free will.”
The room falls silent. The idea that no one can physically stop you from becoming your worst self is terrifying.
Part 2
The lecture continues as Evelyn recognizes the false personalities and masks people wear to meet societal expectations. The protest noise outside swells, then fades as the door swings and closes again. Lord Blue’s voice cuts through.
“Many people,” he says, “live their lives trying to satisfy others’ expectations. They create false personalities by wearing masks. They are uncomfortable showing their true qualities. Unfortunately, the masks become permanent and will not disappear until you discover why you chose fake disguises.”
Evelyn’s stomach drops. She thinks of school: a different version of herself in each hallway—honors class Evelyn, activist Evelyn, family-approved Evelyn.
“So first,” she says slowly, “I develop a soul character over many lifetimes. Then I develop layers of temporary fake characters that step in front of my soul character.
“I have to figure out which me to be, depending on my friends’ expectations. This is… very confusing.”
“Self-mastery,” Lord Blue says, “is a constant process of self-observation and assessment. Soul students seek to discover and overcome the distracting patterns that drain their mystic power.
“How much of your identity is invested in perverse qualities? Creating new virtuous patterns will replace old, harmful patterns. Unwinding immoral habit patterns takes discipline, inspiration, and mystic power.”
“Am I missing something?” Evelyn asks. “Wouldn’t it be easier not to create bad habits in the first place?
“I want a guidebook listing all the possible harmful habits I should avoid. I’ll memorize the list and use my disciplined willpower to avoid them all.”
“Souls already know what is harmful,” Lord Blue says softly, “but still prefer to experience the resulting temporary pleasure.”
Evelyn feels called out in a way no health class lecture ever manages.
Drawing attention to the golden circle on the diagram, Lord Blue details how willpower and the solar plexus prioritize goals for the soul. Lord Blue points now to the golden circle on the diagram, just above the navel.
“Sixth ray,” he says. “Purple and gold ray of ministration and service. Solar plexus: willpower.”
“The solar plexus area,” he continues, “is a mystic connection point for your soul’s willpower to accomplish your highest and noblest aspirations. Willpower provides the thrust and drive to achieve a goal.
“People need money to live. Money is earned when willpower is engaged to acquire it. A person can be full of wonderful ideas and expectations, but it takes motivation to accomplish a goal.
“Your willpower is a concentrated, mystical thrust to empower projects, interests, and goals. Your soul’s power taps into stored extra mystic energy. It focuses on activating a plan—first to overcome self-centered human desires and emotions, then to fulfill your soul’s mission and purpose.”
Evelyn raises an eyebrow. “Willpower is a powerful force,” she says. “What triggers it?”
“Many things,” Lord Blue says. “The solar plexus is a swirling cauldron of human desires, wants, intentions, and inspiration. Human desires conflict with the virtuous intentions of the soul. Working with virtues in life has better long-term consequences than indulging in vices.”
“There are so many possible interests and desires,” Evelyn says. “How does my soul decide what plans and projects I should pursue? Does my motivation come from my feelings, my mind, my personality, or my imagination?”
“A great question,” Lord Blue says, “but very tough to answer.
Ideally, your desires and interests should merit approval from all seven centers. Then your seven energy centers will contribute mystic energy to generate the motivational thrust needed to achieve something. Willpower must be applied to an interest. Willpower provides the motivation and prioritizes which projects to move forward on.”
“You’re talking in circles,” Evelyn replies. “When I strongly desire something, I also desire to do what it takes to get that something.”
“Not true,” Lord Blue counters. “If you want to get good grades but have no interest in or motivation for doing homework, you end up getting bad grades. A soul could be interested in graduating, but be unwilling to study, so they do not pass their tests.”
“I get your point,” Evelyn says. “Someone might want an empty kitchen sink, but avoid doing the dishes. I may want a clean shop area, but I cannot be bothered to take time to put tools away. I’m interested in having lots of money, but I’m also interested in spending money on toys I want.
“So how does my willpower prioritize which interest wins?”
“Welcome,” Lord Blue says, “to the human world of conflicts and changing priorities.
“A person who wants money will work hard all week to earn it. The big test comes on payday, with the desire to spend money to reward themselves for their hard work.
“It all revolves around get, have, and spend. They are motivated to earn money. The desire to have money and the desire to spend money both reinforce the motive to get money. The motive is to save up money.
“The stronger motive to have money tries to override the motive to spend money. If the desire for pleasurable reward is stronger than the motive to save money, then the motive to spend will override the motive to save.
“It is hard to maintain the motivation to save money when the drive to spend keeps winning. Eventually, the pain of working hard may not be worth the pleasure of the reward. Conflicting motives cause the energy of your solar plexus to be tied up in knots.”
Evelyn groans. “You’re still talking in circles. How does my willpower prioritize which interest wins?”
“Let me try again,” Lord Blue says. “Just because you feel an urge or have a motive does not mean it is right for you. You have to distinguish at the soul level whether your motives originate from divine inspiration or from an unhealthy pattern of the past.
“There are selfish human motives, such as fun and pleasurable sensations. Ideally, ninety-five percent of your motives are overridden to allow the selfless divine motives to be virtuous and help others.”
“It’s not about what I want to do,” Evelyn says slowly, “but what my soul is supposed to do. It’s not where my feet want to wander, but where the path of mastery leads me.
“Why aren’t souls more motivated to master their superpowers?”
“Willpower,” Lord Blue says, “should also align your desires and interests with cosmic law and truth. Righteous use of willpower brings about the best results. Using your willpower to align with the truth and law will prevent automatic hell.
“This is a major Earth challenge for the soul in making free choices. There are lots of options, but limited choices if you want the right results.
“Sifting through your motives and simplifying your life will help you prioritize.
“When you desire fried eggs, you must follow the law. The law says eggs are needed to make fried eggs. Spending a lifetime throwing different items in a frying pan, trying to get fried eggs, is what Earth School is about.
“You have free will to experiment as much as you want. You can try using bread, carrots, a hammer, or plastic bottles. There are an infinite number of things that can be mixed, but you must follow the law to get fried eggs, no matter what you believe or expect.”
Evelyn laughs. “This helps me understand the advantage of doing what I’m supposed to do. Blind experimental free choice gives me too many options and causes painful confusion.
“Following my mystic path and the cosmic laws will eliminate ninety-five percent of my confusing and conflicting desires. I’m actually grateful to have a path to follow.”
Shifting focus upward on the diagram, Evelyn explores the third eye vision and exposing mystic deception alongside her teacher. Lord Blue taps the indigo circle painted on the banner’s forehead.
“Fifth ray,” he says. “Third eye. Forehead vision. Truth.”
“The pictures you perceive with your physical senses,” he explains, “do not include the interwoven layers of the mystic world. The vision center is like the eyes of the soul.
“There are third-eye cameras for taking pictures and videos of the mystic world around us and passing them on to the mystic mind.”
“Double vision,” Evelyn says, “could be very confusing.”
“Human eyes,” Lord Blue continues, “see a limited range of light frequencies. Imagine walking into a dimly lit room and looking around. You could discern what is close, but other things would be unrecognizable.
“The dresser in the back corner exists, but you cannot see it. Even if the light is turned on, you would not see the contents of the drawers.
“The fifthray mystic vision can see through walls and other physical barriers. This supervision can reveal the invisible mystic layers of energy.”
“How can I get more superpowers?” Evelyn asks, only half joking.
“A deaf man,” Lord Blue says, “is mostly unaware of the higher-frequency sounds around him. These sounds exist as an invisible layer of energy in the physical world.
“Human ears detect a limited range of sound vibrations. Electronic sensing equipment can detect what human eyes and ears cannot see.
“The mystic senses are capable of seeing and hearing far better than the human eyes and ears, but this ability must be developed.”
“Shouldn’t everyone have this power automatically?” Evelyn asks. “Then they’d see and believe the mystic world really exists.”
“Picture yourself,” Lord Blue says, “needing to walk through a long, dark cave. You can choose to dimly light up the path in front of you—or also illuminate the beautiful walls and ceilings covered with spiders, bats, and ugly monsters.”
Evelyn wrinkles her nose. “Yikes, just the path, please. I know I’d miss seeing the beautiful crystal stalactites, but I really don’t want to see the ugly creatures.”
“People choose,” Lord Blue says, “to shut down their supervision because they do not want to see the demons and the effects of misused energy.”
“I wouldn’t know how to fight off a giant spider,” Evelyn admits. “I’d rather pretend it’ll leave me alone as long as I can’t see it. Maybe the creatures will stay asleep if I keep the light really low.”
“But then,” Lord Blue says, “you will not see anything and know what to expect.”
Evelyn exhales hard. “You’re right. This is a tough choice for me. Even though monsters are scary, I’d rather see them and be prepared to protect myself.”
“These,” Lord Blue says, “are the main conflicting attitudes in the world.
“Many want to hide from the dark forces and leave them alone. They pretend everything is beautiful. They believe so strongly that they do not perceive the harmful darkness around them. One by one, these fools get mercilessly attacked and eaten.”
“Can I trust hungry spiders to leave me alone just because I ignore them?” Evelyn asks. “Would blind faith protect me?”
“No,” Lord Blue says simply. “The visionaries can expose their enemies’ corruption and deception. They see it and want to fight against it.
“These souls tend to seek to develop their mystical senses, abilities, and powers to defend themselves and others. Their visions inspire them to seek the power to vanquish their souls’ enemies.”
Evelyn’s eyes narrow with new resolve. “Now you’re talking my language. Can I shine the light on the cave walls and smite those beasts so others can walk behind me without being afraid or eaten?”
“Developing and using your mystic senses,” Lord Blue replies, “can reveal corruption and deception through intuition and discernment.
“Corrupt humans with power will take advantage of innocent, blind believers, creating their own fantasyland, like assuming every used car dealer will sell you only the best car in the region. Researching used car values ahead of time is a safer attitude.”
“I guess my only choice,” Evelyn says, “is to learn how to smite spiders so they won’t eat me.”
“The thirdeye vision center,” Lord Blue says, “can receive thoughtforms, which activate projectors to broadcast pictures of thoughtforms your soul wants to create.
“The images are like magic blueprint magnets, designed to attract and solidify a real three-dimensional result in the physical world. This power of imagination is like eye magic.
“All day long, both virtuous and corrupt pictures come and go through your vision center, creating magnetic blueprints which draw in your new reality. This is like preseeing the future you are creating.”
“Like eyesight in reverse,” Evelyn says. “Instead of seeing what’s there, I send a picture to make something appear. Now that is a cool superpower.
“But what if everything people saw in their imagination came to be real? This power sounds really dangerous.”
“Unintended creations,” Lord Blue says, “are one of the major problems on Earth. Most people cannot limit or control what they envision. Movies stain their minds. They do not prefilter what they project out. Corruption leads to fake or unclear pictures.
“Many people’s third eye is blocked from both receiving and projecting images.”
“Oh my,” Evelyn says softly. “That’s even more dangerous. They won’t be able to perceive their souls’ enemies.”
“Blocking out their intuition and mystic insight,” Lord Blue continues, “opens the doorway to create fantasy daydreams. They project a fake veil of illusion to mask the mystic reality.”
“I will seek the truth,” Evelyn says solemnly. “The whole truth and nothing but the truth, so God will help me graduate from Earth soul school.”
“The immaculate concept,” Lord Blue says, “is the divine blueprint for what is meant to be. When we focus our energy and inner vision there, we will crystallize the image we are ‘preseeing,’ and it will come into being.
“Try to see the purity and perfection in creation, and connect with flashes of insight, genius, and originality that can help you fulfill your personal mission and make discoveries or inventions.
“Our insights and our intuition come to us through our third eye when we are in tune with our higher divine self.”
“It is scary,” Evelyn admits, “to think that I’ll become what I put my attention on.
“Let me summarize. Clear vision gives a clear perspective on my life. I should imagine the best outcome. Tune in to what should be rather than what might be happening now. Use discrimination to tell the difference between fantasy and reality.
“And I should let my higher self put pictures in my mind’s eye of what’s best for me. Hold a pure vision of my graduation.”
She pauses, then asks the question that’s been snaking through her chest. “Does holding a negative image of others or criticizing them make it more difficult for them to pass their tests?”
“Yes,” Lord Blue says.
The word hits like a gavel.
Continuing the lesson, Lord Blue compares compassion and sympathy within the heart energy center to explain how emotional vibrations affect the body. Lord Blue’s hand hovers over the glowing pink circle on the chest of the banner.
“Third ray,” he says. “Pink ray. Heart energy center. Virtues.”
“The heart energy center,” he explains, “is the feeling center. Your feelings are how your soul experiences the vibrational quality of mystic energy.
“Energy pulses and vibrates. The year is detected souby nd wave energy. Light energy encompasses a wide range of frequencies.
“Generating virtuous vibrational frequencies will enhance the mystic energy we send out. The heart center contains the core fire of the threefold flame of wisdom, virtuous feelings, and power.
“Mystic divine feelings of caring, sharing, and gratitude are all positive radiations of the heart.”
Evelyn throws her hands up. “Hooray,” she says, then frowns. “Humph. Do you have to talk about sticky feelings?”
“The divine energy we receive,” Lord Blue says, “passes through our heart chakra before it moves on to nourish the other chakras and systems of our body.
“If the energy is impure, tainted with selfishness, hatred, or dislike, all of your chakras can suffer.”
“How can clean energy get dirty so fast?” Evelyn asks.
“As energy passes through your heart chakra,” Lord Blue answers, “it takes on your imprint—the positive or negative, unique vibration and quality of your heart.
“If the motive of your heart is pure and you are intent upon giving love, kindness, and compassion to others, then the energy flowing through your heart chakra will go forth to bless and energize.
“Positive expressions include love, compassion, beauty, selflessness, sensitivity, appreciation, comfort, creativity, charity, and generosity.”
“I can’t imagine an impure heart,” Evelyn says, though she thinks of people who hurt others and still sleep at night.
“Unbalanced expressions,” Lord Blue says, “include hatred, dislike, selfishness, self-pity, negligence, and human sympathy.
“Sympathy allows some to feel sorry for themselves, indulge in weaknesses, and validate a sense of victimization.”
“How can feelings have a nasty dark side?” Evelyn asks.
“The heart center,” Lord Blue says, “is the most critical energy center in the body. It is the hub of life, physically and spiritually, just as oxygenated blood from our lungs is pumped by the heart throughout the body.
“Soul students learn to center in the heart, speak from the heart, and act from the heart. Real love is intense and fiery, not sentimental or passive.”
“You make love sound more like a power,” Evelyn says, “than just a mushy feeling.”
“Cultivate your friend, compassion, not your enemy, sympathy,” Lord Blue says. “Compassion comes from a higher level and gives to another what they really need in that moment.
“Sympathy comes from the lower egotistical self and stands in the way of what the soul really needs.”
“I like the idea of feelings being foes or allies,” Evelyn says.
“Sympathy,” Lord Blue continues, “is an excuse that weakens by allowing you to feel sorry for yourself, indulge in weaknesses, or give up.
“Sympathy reinforces that sense of victimization rather than prompting the vision of seeing challenges as opportunities.
“In the aura, sympathy appears as a syrupy, dripping energy from the heart and as spiraling energy moving downward, eventually dragging down emotions and soul awareness as well.
“Compassion, on the other hand, dips into the pure fires of the heart to uplift others so they can realize their full potential. Compassion supports the process of soul refinement. Compassion doesn’t leave someone who is hurting where it finds them.
“It’s okay to support a child, a friend, or a loved one, but when our caring cushions them from learning their lessons and growing from them, we aren’t doing them any favors.
“Sometimes those we love the most need a dose of reality, a wake-up call. Sympathy can be smothering instead of supportive.
“Enemy emotions such as anger and frustration strain the heart and other organs. Ally emotions like love, compassion, and appreciation create harmony, leading to natural immunity and improved hormonal balance.
“To be in a position to help others,” he adds, “we need to pay attention to ourselves first. Drawing healthy boundaries creates the time or space to recharge and nurture ourselves.
“We must stand up for our principles in the face of peer pressure or societal pressure.”
Evelyn thinks of group chats blowing up over callouts, of pressure to either cancel or conform. The idea that boundaries are not selfish but necessary feels like a quiet revolution in her chest.
Looking to the very top of the diagram, Evelyn considers crown chakra wisdom and rejecting enemy thoughts as true spiritual enlightenment. Lord Blue’s hand rises to the top of the diagram, hovering over the yellow-white halo above the head.
“Second ray,” he says. “Yellow ray of illumination. Crown chakra energy center, top of the head—wisdom.”
“The top crown center,” he explains, “houses the mystic mind. This center of illumination gathers and stores knowledge of cosmic laws and universal truths.
“This is the area where the soul thinks, plans, and makes wise decisions. Conclusions are stored in long-term memory. Crystallized thoughtforms are radiated out to other centers for implementation.”
“Does everyone use their Command Central,” Evelyn asks, “where strategies for defense and offense are discussed?”
“Some people glow with light,” Lord Blue says. “Others flicker or are glowless.
“The soul can experience the intelligent wisdom and enlightenment of glowing mystic energy. Cosmic information, laws, and inspiration are downloaded and uploaded to the mystic communication network.
“Through our crown chakra, we can connect with a higher source of knowledge. We can tap into the creative genius of our Causal Presence. The human animal intellect is not the mystic mind.”
“There are friendly thoughts and ideas,” Evelyn says, “and enemy thought projections and temptations. How can we know the difference?”
“The friendly thoughts glow,” Lord Blue says. “The enemy temptations are gray.
Humans focus on educating their brains while ignoring the mystic broadcasts from the higher mystic mind. Mystic wisdom is an understanding of the reality that lies beyond the physical world.
“When we listen, we can understand the limitations of our lesser self and the limitless resources of our greater Self. Tapping into our own higher intelligence can give us the insights and inspiration we can’t find anywhere else.”
“Enemy thoughts are so obvious,” Evelyn says. “Pride, vanity, intellectualism, egocentrism, narrow-mindedness, ignorance.
“Why don’t souls just embrace their friends and reject their enemies?”
“Friendly cosmic laws,” Lord Blue says, “can be seen as strict, limiting, and not very fun.
“Enemies disguise themselves inside liberating false beliefs, fun-filled fantasies, and self-justifying misinformation.
“Your enemies help you fulfill your cravings, addictions, and desire for revenge. Your masked foes promote indulgence in sensorial pleasure.
“Blind beliefs are comforting, but they do not alter reality.”
“What are you doing, wasting our time stating the obvious?” Evelyn snaps, more sharply than she intends. “Disobedience, false beliefs, and ignorance of cosmic laws will not alter reality.
“Doesn’t every glowing soul know this?”
“Many humans,” Lord Blue says quietly, “stubbornly hold onto their customized assumptions. They don’t want to verify whether their beliefs are true.
“They would rather assume the real Truth is unknowable and claim the freedom to believe whatever is convenient and comforting.”
“Eternal, dependable cosmic laws,” Evelyn says, calmer now, “let soul students predict outcomes from their actions accurately.
“Pretending an all-forgiving Father will reward them with unmerited, eternal happiness is deliberately setting themselves up to fail.
“I don’t see how we can convince the Flickers that only Glows can enter a perfect paradise. Soul students need to glow up to graduate.”
“Through our crown chakra,” Lord Blue says, “we receive the creative thoughts of helpful divine beings.
“Soul students must strengthen their intuitive faculties and develop a keener perception of spiritual dimensions. The seventh energy center, the crown chakra, is where mystic students receive and experience the glowing halo of wisdom and enlightenment.
“This is knowledge of the reality beyond the physical world—the inner reality that enlivens the Glows.
“The secondary light helps us access the higher source of knowledge, our own higher mind, so that we can tap into our own creative genius.”
“It’s shocking to me,” Evelyn says, “to learn that humans engage in drugs, alcohol, and marijuana while knowing it’s decreasing their wisdom.
“Engaging in self-destructive activities is not normal.”
Her voice is quiet but sharp with worry—for classmates spiraling, for entire communities numbing themselves because the world hurts too much.
As the session reaches its peak, Lord Blue explains the throat energy center and the power of spoken words for mystic warriors. Lord Blue’s hand moves to the bright blue circle at the throat.
“First ray,” he says. “Throat energy center. Communication power to create and direct energy.”
“The throat center,” he explains, “is for verbal communication and radiated energy enhancement.
“Your soul combines the mind’s thoughtforms with visualizations from the vision center and feelings from the heart, and then speaks the creative words.
“The spoken words carry your intelligent mystic fire. This enhanced firebreath intensifies the message, request, or command being made.”
“Spoken words can be a powerful tool or a destructive weapon,” Evelyn says. “Are humans even aware of the power they can have?”
“Explosive emotions, criticism, and swearing,” Lord Blue says, “are a misuse of your superpower and can place heavy burdens on the person on the receiving end.
“The person doing the criticism and cursing is unknowingly penalized.”
“Dense people,” Evelyn mutters, “become more dense.”
“Shatterchatter,” Lord Blue says. “Nonstop chattering and cursing misuse energy and waste it. Then you don’t have the power you need for your goals and purposes.
“Idle chatter fritters away our glowpower, and argumentation drains our energy.”
“Flickers don’t have enough energy to maintain a constant glow,” Evelyn says, “because they’ve chatted away their mystic light.”
“Spoken or sung words,” Lord Blue says, “help to carry thoughts, images, and feelings.
“Positive affirmation statements create a mystical chalice that can be filled with mystical light energy.
“Negative verbal statements also create a mystic bucket that can be filled with corrupt energy.
“Verbally repeating the statements with energized visual pictures and thoughtforms increases the container size. Eventually, the positive or negative form will appear in the physical world.”
“What’s the best use of our voice?” Evelyn asks.
“The throat chakra,” Lord Blue says, “is our power center to become mystic warriors. The spoken word can literally create change and transformation, but mastering the energies of this chakra involves the power of the mind.
“Every single time people open their mouths, they are making a choice: to help or to harm.
“Proper speech is supportive, kind, and respectful. Soul students don’t waste their time with pointless idle chatter because it weakens their glow.
“They speak meaningfully and honestly, without criticism.”
“I’m most interested,” Evelyn says, “in using my power centers for both protection and rescuing the stuck souls.”
“Your energy centers—chakras—are the spiritual organs that govern the flow of energy within you,” Lord Blue says, “affecting your vitality, outlook on life, and spiritual growth.
“The perpetual flow of energy, moving as a river of light through your chakras, will keep your body, mind, and spirit glowing.
“The lack of energy flow can create flickering, depression, and even disease.”
Evelyn closes her eyes for a moment. In her mind, she sees it: a river of light running from the crown of her head down her spine, branching through her heart, spiraling at her solar plexus, pouring out through her throat and hands and feet. In some places it brightens; in others it narrows to a trembling line.
She opens her eyes. Testers are so desperate that they are still chanting for clean water, for justice, for a future that doesn’t burn.
Inside, a different kind of uprising begins—quiet but fierce, made of questions and choices and invisible light.
She doesn’t know it yet, but these twelve chapters of one strange morning will echo through every test she faces: in classrooms that erase history, in friendships that fracture, in late-night panic spirals when the world feels too broken to fix.
For she sits there, lit from the inside by a ten-foot-wide, stubborn, maybe pink glow and thinks:
I want to graduate. For real.
And for the first time, the word graduate feels like a mystery worth solving, instead of a finish line someone else drew for her.
Chapter Synopsis:
Evelyn Reese participates in a Mindful Living Week workshop led by Lord Blue, where she explores the seven spiritual energy centers, the mechanics of saving and spending mystic energy, and how human attachments, ego, and false masks create obstacles to soul graduation. Through detailed teachings on the base of the spine, solar plexus, third eye, heart, crown, and throat chakras, Evelyn learns to distinguish between genuine spiritual compassion and debilitating sympathy while striving to align her free choice with cosmic law.
Core Themes & Laws:
Seven spiritual energy centers act as portal stations stepping down mystic force and radiating either a positive divine glow or a polluted flickering aura depending on energy conservation and discipline
Human ego, attachments, and uncontrolled electrochemical desires drain vital mystic reserves, trapping souls in illusions and earthly bondage
Compassion empowers souls and others toward true spiritual growth, whereas self-indulgent sympathy acts as an enemy emotion that reinforces victimization
Spoken words, thoughtforms, and third-eye visualizations serve as creative tools that either construct positive divine blueprints or manifest negative realities
